Back At Work

I have been very busy for the last two weeks. Now I am back.  I really miss not having time to sew. It gives me such a pleasure to design and create. I am taking a sewing  and a software class that teach me how to use my Topaz 30 sewing and embroidery machine better.  The teacher is fantastic and she can answer all  my questions.  These are a few things I have been working on.

The Red Heart Apron is non-reversible like the other ones I made. This one is for sale at the Willow Tree Gift Shop in Kuna but, I take special orders. I won't be able to use the same fabric but you can bring me your own fabric or tell me what colors you like and I can buy it for you. The price for a special order of a non-reversible apron will be $12.00. If you bring your own fabric I will only charge you for the work.

Red Heart Apron.
The Tooth Fairy Pillow for Boys has turned out very cute.   The pillow size is 10x10 and the back is finished in a coordinating beige fleece fabric for softness.  The words "Tooth Fairy", and the tooth fairy itself are embroidered on a quilted fabric. The star is embroidered on denim fabric. The trim is also denim.

Another Tooth Fairy pillow for Girls. No doubt any girl will love to have one of these.  The Tooth Fairy will not have problems finding the lost tooth in the cute little pocket. This one is made with quilted and fleece pink fabrics. The accents are pink and lime green. Perfect for any girl's room.

Something for the Children

This is a Tooth Fairy Pillow. It has a pocket where you can leave the lost tooth for the Tooth Fairy. It is perfect for a little princess and  I can even embroider her name on it. The size of the pillow is 10x10. I am working on designing one for boys . They also deserve to have a special pillow for the Tooth Fairy. I hope you like it.

This is the second pillow I made for my livingroom chairs. They are very soft and I like the touch of elegance they give to the room. They will be great in a bedroom too.

And of course, more kitchen towels.

This Week's Work

The boys have wanted to have their names on their backpacks for a while so I finally did it. I think they are happy.

I am making 2 decorative pillows for my livingroom chairs. Each one has a different inspirational word on each side. This is one of them. The other one will say, Remember and Dream. I am very pleased with the results. It even looks better in real life.
If you like it and would like me to make one I can do the embroidery on your favorite fabric. You can finish the pillow or I can do the work for you. Just contact me.

More kitchen towels. I need to make some for the gift store where I sell them. I came up with this design. The one on the left does not show the word very good,  but it also says Welcome.  Even though I sell them at a shop I always take special orders.

And a Few More Things

And after the aprons I started designing some kitchen towels. They are too pretty to use but you sure can use them. Here are a few from my "Chicken & Rooster" collection.

This one was a special order. I thought it was cute.

And then came the decorative pillows.
Around the border of the willow tree pillow I sewed the words" Dream, Believe, Wish"

How All This Started

It all started with this one.  I made it as a birthday gift and the girls really liked it. Then I thought I could maybe make more and sell them.

This one was a success at the Cherry Festival this  passed summer.

The Lady Bugs print has been loved by many including 90 year old grandmas.

I have used many different fabric combinations. These are a few samples.

These 2 were made from kitchen towels  and have some embroidery done on them.

And finally I made one for myself. I bought the apron and I embroidered the design. I love it.

OH THE POSSIBILITIES!
